I stumbled on slicethepie.com by accident a couple of weeks ago while researching uncommon ways to make extra money (online and offline). This website really struck me as being a very interesting way to make a little extra money that I could re-invest into my other projects. In this article, I will tell you what review slicethepie.com and say what it is all about in the first place. I’ll also cover the pros and cons of this website, and I’ll give you some helpful tips and tricks to make earning your first $10 (or more) there easier and faster.
Slicethepie.com is basically a website that pays you to listen to and review music. All you have to do is sign up and they will present you with a song that you will have to listen to for 90 seconds. Once that 90 seconds is up, they will ask you for a rating and a review. Depending on the length of your review(and other factors) you will be paid anywhere up to $0.10 per review and more. This may not seem like a lot of money. But this adds up pretty fast and before you know it, you have reached your first $10 payout.
There are a lot of things I liked about this website. First of all, one of the biggest benefits is that you could listen to the music in the background while you work on something else. This way, you only come back to the website when you have to write a review. For example, I’m a writer and music always inspires me to write better… so I open up slicethepie and start a song on there and I spend those 90 seconds listening to the song and working on my writing. The second cool thing I wanted to bring up is the fact that this is by far one of the funnest and easiest ways I have discovered to make some extra money online. You’re going to be listening to music on your computer anyways, right? You might as well make some money with it. Thirdly, it’s really easy to reach the first $10 payout. There are no catches or nasty surprises when it comes to receiving your payment for your work. They will pay you as long as you put in an honest effort in writing your song reviews.
There are some things I didn’t like so much about this website though. The first thing I didn’t like very much is that you don’t have a lot of control over the kind of music you will be listening to. They will make you listen to all kinds of music genres… so you have to keep an open mind when it comes to music if you want to enjoy your time on this website. Also, once in a while, your song review will be denied and you’ll need to make a few changes to it before it gets accepted. Another potential problem is that I believe they only pay out through paypal right now… but it’s still very easy to open your own free paypal account. The last thing I wanted to add was that I didn’t like the fact that the earning potential is pretty limited on this website. You won’t get rich reviewing songs on slicethepie.com but it’s still a fun way to make some extra cash.
Here are some tips and tricks I’ve discovered while working on slicethepie.com that I’d like to share with you. First of all, the more time and effort you put into each review and the longer your review becomes, the more money you will earn from that review… so make sure you don’t rush through writing your song reviews… Take the time to write everything you genuinely think and feel about the song. You’ll be rewarded for doing so. The second trick I’d like to share with you is to simply keep at it. In other words, stick with it because the more reviews you write, the higher your “rank” will be and the higher your earnings will be. Another tip I’d like to share with you is that I don’t think you should spend all day working on this site. This is something you can do for fun and the extra money you’ll get will be a bonus benefit to using the service… Your earnings from this website will never replace your day job salary. However, the extra money you make on here could be re-invested into your other more profitable online ventures.
